I have a secret adoration for lists. 

On the list of things to do today:

- finish decorating the room

- run errands with the hippie

- get chalkboard paint for a fun craft project

- update the wander and the runaway (yeah, I know...finally)

- finish Going the Distance (don't care what you say. they make me laugh out loud by myself. it takes talent to do that)

Our room is slowly becoming a perfect expression of my deepest and truest heart. That's kinda what a room should be yeah?

The secret room will be a secret no longer in a few days. Just need a finish a few things for the pictures.

I always sing very loudly with my musicals. This is one of my favorites (and also my dream role for anyone who wants to know). I will admit it. I used to put my earphones on and act this scene out in my basement. There were tears. Don't judge.

I'm making Christmas presents this year. I went thrifting last night to start getting some stuff and gather inspiration. I sure as heck found some. 

What is the Purpose of a Banana? 

I have no idea, but soon-to-be roommate Malory taught me how to bind my own book, so I'll never know!

I also found a new little critter to join the wander and the runaway team. Want a clue?

You have to help me convince Koni he's not creepy and actually quite lovable. Just look at those eyes! It was nothing but love at first sight.

 I also started work on my "Discover Beauty" shirts for Africa. More to come, but here's a sneak peak. Who wants one?

Never have I wanted to runaway more, but running is hard in water.

I'm not sure how to fix myself, cause I wasn't aware until about five minutes ago I was broken. Good thing it's not my job to fix myself. I was the kid that took the remote control apart and couldn't get it back together. If I had to fix myself, I wouldn't even know what pieces to look for.

the Wander and the Runaway is born. How refreshing to finally have that off my chest after several weeks of planning, organizing, not organizing, typing, laughing, talking to a computer, talking to a person, editing, and pretty much everything else that goes into designing a website (which is WAY more than you think.)

If you ask me to sum up our project (for lack of a better word) in a sentence it would be this.

I can't.

But if you really insist...it would be this.

To travel around the world in search of people that want to sit down over a cup of coffee (or other beverage of their choice if they aren't a coffee addict like Koni and I) and be listened to, and whilst we do the listening to somehow make them see their worth on this planet we call earth and make them feel like they are important.

Whew. Mouthful...
